   Our hotel is situated in Jumeaux, by the river Allier, south of Issoire, close to the Auvergne volcano area. At the crossroads of the "Puy de Dôme", the "Haute Loire" and "Cantal" districts. It's situation is ideal to discover and visit the Auvergne beauty spots that have achieved both a national and international reputation : Puys mountain range, Vulcania, Blesles, the Garabit viaduct etc... Formerly, Jumeaux used to be a place of high renown for boating on the river Allier. There, peeople would make "sapinières" wich were flat barges used by the "bougnats" to carry coal timber and Boude wines up to Paris. Today the river banks are still swarming with the names of ancient boating sites quays or street names etc...
